Birch Bay expanding
BAR HARBOR — Birch Bay Retirement Village in Hulls Cove is growing its cottage offerings due to renewed demand. The retirement village announced its plans recently to initiate the final stage of a three-phase cottage construction project that began in 2001.
Phase 3 includes building three new cottages – a single and a duplex.
Birch Bay’s campus includes 23 independent living apartments, 32 residential care suites (including 16 specialized Memory Care suites) and currently has 17 retirement cottages.
